Financial Services Coordinator – 3 months FTC

Location: Ashford

Salary: £22,000 (pro rata)

Hours: Part-time (21-25 hours) Monday-Friday

The Company

Our client is a reputable organisation within the insurance industry, known for their excellent products and customer service. They have been in business for over a century and manage their clients from local offices, prioritising community involvement.

The Role:

We are seeking a driven and enthusiastic Financial Services Coordinator to support the delivery of our Agency's strategy through positively contributing to the growth and development of leads for our financial services products.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with the Financial Advisor and Senior Partner to generate leads from the Agency teams in line with agreed targets.
  • Proactive contact with existing and prospective customers, providing excellent customer service and generating financial service leads in line with set targets.
  • Support the training and development of the team to enable cross-selling of financial services products – training new joiners, working with colleagues across the Agency to improve lead generation, contributing to team meetings and supporting the engagement of the team with Financial Services as a whole.
  • Work effectively with the Financial Advisor and telesales team to co-ordinate and deliver Financial Services sales campaigns.
  • Support the Financial Advisor by booking appointments and regularly review progress of financial services sales by reviewing, feeding back and identifying areas for focus and improvement, planning and actioning as agreed with Financial Advisor and Senior Partner.
  • Positively support the development of effective working relationships between the Agency teams and the Financial Advisor to ensure objectives are met for the Agency and customers.
  • Drive support and influence life lead activities with the Agency including monitoring, reporting on and managing performance against lead targets to ensure the effective delivery of objectives.
  • Consistently provide excellent levels of customer service in all interactions with potential and existing customers, delivering on promises, meeting their needs and exceeding expectations.
  • Ensure all duties are carried out in a way which complies with relevant external legislations and regulations.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Experience in delivering excellent customer service and being in a targeted and driven sales/sales generating role is essential.
  • Own transport & full UK driving licence is essential.
  • Good IT skills especially in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in a Financial Services environment or knowledge of Insurance is desirable.
  • Great team working and ability to build effective relationships through positive behaviours, honesty and integrity.
