AECOM is seeking a skilled Senior Nuclear Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our nuclear engineering group, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality designs and projects from concept to completion.

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Nuclear Engineer with a strong background in design-related tasks within the nuclear sector. You will lead the continued development of a strong team, providing leadership and robust management. Your exceptional leadership qualities will enable you to offer strategic advice and influence other engineers in defining, implementing, and completing engineering work packages.

Your Key Responsibilities
* Lead the continued development of a strong team, providing leadership and robust management* Oversee key projects from concept to delivery, including design, procurement, subcontract, factory acceptance, installation, site acceptance, and commissioning* Participate in and guide engineering design tasks, ensuring high-quality and technically sound solutions* Drive business development within a crucial segment of the engineering department, serving as a key holder of resources and expertise* Prepare and deliver technical presentations, conduct peer reviews of technical documents, and provide strategic advice using project and portfolio insights to guide and shape projects and programs* Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded

Requirements and Qualifications
* A Mechanical Engineering Degree at Master's or PhD level, or an equivalent qualification* Chartered Engineer (CEng) status with MechE or a similar institution* Extensive experience in a position heavily focused on design-related tasks within the nuclear sector, covering both new construction and decommissioning projects* Exceptional leadership qualities with the ability to offer strategic advice and influence other engineers in defining, implementing, and completing engineering work packages* A track record of successful project delivery, including overseeing the full project cycle end-to-end* Capability to lead and drive business development efforts* Familiarity with European and American Standards, and comprehensive experience post-Charter in positions demanding thorough engineering knowledge of applicable practices, techniques, and procedures* Competence in preparing and delivering technical presentations and conducting peer reviews of technical documents
