SEN Teaching Assistant Role Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with children aged 2-18 years who have various learning difficulties and additional needs, providing tailored support to help them achieve their developmental goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized support to children with learning difficulties and additional needs, promoting their development and growth.
- Implement nurturing and educational strategies to foster an inclusive and engaging environment.
- Collaborate with families and professionals to create personalized learning plans, ensuring each child's unique needs are met.
- Monitor and assess progress, adapting approaches as necessary to meet each child's needs.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children with special educational needs, including physical disabilities, language disorders, and autism spectrum disorders.
- Relevant qualifications in early childhood education or special education.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with families and professionals.
- A compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to working with children.
