Head of Maintenance and Support Competency Centre

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced leader to head our Maintenance and Support Competency Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering existing services and developing new services within the functional domain of Aircraft maintenance and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction to the Maintenance and Support Competency Centre team to deliver high-quality services and meet business objectives.
- Define and coordinate IT and business resources to meet specific business objectives while maintaining professional standards, accountability, and equality.
- Take responsibility for reviewing management processes and ensuring compliance with corporate governance of IT.
- Ensure effective controls are in place for internal delegation, audit, and control, and provide timely reports and advice to the board.
- Set and deploy IT expenditure, ensuring all financial targets are met and examining areas where budgets and expenditure exceed agreed tolerances.
- Assist with defining and operating effective financial control and decision-making processes, especially in service, projects, and component cost models.
Requirements:
- A good level of experience in delivering key projects in General Management skill sets.
- Significant experience working in an IT Function and relevant field.
- Significant experience managing within an IT Function and relevant field.
- Ideal knowledge of supply chain systems and aircraft maintenance systems.
- Familiarity with IT trends and good practice.
