Alliance Vetting Researcher

About the Role:
The Vetting Researcher will be responsible for interrogating, researching, and analyzing intelligence and information using the Force, National, and other bespoke information systems. This includes evaluating, assessing, and analyzing sensitive and confidential information to prepare vetting files for submission to the Force Vetting Officer.
The post holder will provide administrative support to the team, managing incoming queries by email and telephone, and maintaining contact with other vetting agencies and organizations for intelligence gathering. Comprehensive records of vetting decisions and other enquiries will also be maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interrogate, research, and analyze intelligence and information using Force, National, and other bespoke information systems.
- Evaluate, assess, and analyze sensitive and confidential information to prepare vetting files.
- Provide administrative support to the team, including managing incoming queries.
- Maintain contact with other vetting agencies and organizations for intelligence gathering.
- Maintain comprehensive records of vetting decisions and other enquiries.
Working Arrangements:
This role is a Hybrid Worker position, with the ability to work remotely and in the employer's workspace. The role is 37 hours per week, with the possibility of part-time or flexible working arrangements subject to business need.
