Disability Support Worker
A rewarding career opportunity has arisen for a Disability Support Worker to join our team at CareTech Community Services Ltd. As a valued member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities and mental health issues to achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting service users with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and laundry duties.
  • Assisting with the implementation of individual support plans and activities, ensuring that each service user's needs are met and exceeded.
  • Developing and maintaining effective relationships with service users, families, and other stakeholders, promoting open communication and respect for confidentiality.


We are looking for an experienced and compassionate individual who shares our commitment to delivering exceptional care and making a positive impact on the lives of others. If you have a diploma in Health and Social Care or a related field, experience working with adults with challenging behaviors, and excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply.

About the Role
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the principles of person-centered care, experience working with adults with learning disabilities and mental health issues, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. A valid DBS check is required for this position, and the disclosure expense will be met by the employer.

Benefits
We offer a competitive salary of £11.94 per hour, 35 hours per week, and various contracted hour shifts available to suit your lifestyle.
