We are seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our multi-disciplinary team in the Hyper-Acute Stroke Unit at Ninewells Hospital.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and innovative team developing and embedding thrombectomy care, delivering in-patient thrombolysis care, TIA clinic, and post-Hyper-Acute Stroke Care.
The successful candidate will have a postgraduate diploma in advanced practice and be registered on either Part 1 or Part 12 of the UK NMC Register.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing expert clinical knowledge and professional practice in an acute setting
- Developing and delivering thrombectomy care and in-patient thrombolysis care
- Leading the TIA clinic and post-Hyper-Acute Stroke Care
- Collaborating with the multi-disciplinary team to achieve excellent patient outcomes
NHS National Services Scotland is committed to reducing working hours, and this role will be based on a 37-hour working week. However, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period.
