About the Role

This role will be based at Oakdene Care Centre, in the Mansfield area of Nottinghamshire.

The home has been specially designed to cater to the every need of 40 residents, living with a range of learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and mental health conditions that require dignified support from our caring team.

As a Support Worker, you will provide respectful and dignified support to residents, encouraging them to achieve the highest possible quality of life that is right for them.

You will also provide companionship, emotional, and practical support, assisting residents with day-to-day activities, and promoting resident independence in the preparation of food and/or at mealtimes.

Responsibilities

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will have a genuine caring nature and a desire to make a real difference for our residents.

Though prior experience as a Support Worker or Care Assistant is desirable, this is not essential as full training is provided.

It is essential that candidates for this role are patient, understanding, and respectful of our residents' individual abilities.
