About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit and Accounts professional to join our team at Rutherford Briant. As an Audit and Accounts Semi-Senior or Senior, you will play a key role in providing high-quality audit and accounting services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with managers and senior staff to deliver a range of client services, including audit and accounting, and build strong relationships with clients.
  • Prepare year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Conduct audits and prepare financial statements, identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations for clients.
  • Complete tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and companies, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  • Develop business tax skills, including preparing computations for sole traders, partnerships, and companies, and providing advice on tax planning and optimization.
Requirements
  • ACA/ACCA Qualification or Part Qualification.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • A competitive salary of between £28,000- £43,000 dependent on experience and qualification.
