Facilities Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Manager to join our team at Longdon Park School, part of Options Autism. As a Facilities Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our school facilities, providing a safe and supportive environment for our pupils and staff.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining our school sites, carrying out risk assessments, and implementing security procedures. You will also contribute to school development projects, working closely with our staff and pupils to ensure that our facilities meet their needs.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and repair school facilities, including buildings, equipment, and grounds
- Conduct risk assessments and implement safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure the efficient use of resources
- Collaborate with staff and pupils to identify and address facility needs
- Contribute to school development projects, including capital projects and maintenance initiatives
- Experience as a site manager of a school or similar environment
- Strong maintenance and repair skills, including DIY and health and safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
