Lounge is seeking a talented Junior Sous Chef to join our kitchen team. As a Junior Sous Chef, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Head Chef and Sous Chef to deliver exceptional food experiences to our customers.

About the Role:
  • Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in leading the kitchen team to prepare and serve delicious meals.
  • Ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standard, using only the freshest ingredients.
  • Work closely with the kitchen team to maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Junior Sous Chef or an experienced Chef looking to take the next step in their career.
  • Proven ability to work with fresh ingredients and demonstrate good chef/kitchen skills, including food prep, hot and cold, cleaning, knife skills, and good hygiene practices.
  • Strong communication skills and a team player who can work well under limited supervision.
  • Knowledge of best practice when it comes to allergens, kitchen essentials, and Food Safety.
