Job Title: Lead Scientist - Toxicological Risk Assessment

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Scientist to join our team in Southampton. As a key member of our Toxicology team, you will be responsible for leading the toxicological risk assessment of our products, ensuring they meet the highest safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement toxicological risk assessment strategies for our products.
  2. Lead a team of scientists in conducting toxicological evaluations and risk assessments.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  4. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and suppliers.
  5. Stay up-to-date with the latest scientific research and regulatory developments in toxicology.

Requirements:

  1. PhD in Toxicology or a related field.
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience in toxicology, with a focus on risk assessment.
  3. Proven track record of leading teams and managing projects.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
