Research Scientist in Biomedical Data Analysis

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented researcher to join our team at the University of Cambridge. The successful candidate will have a PhD in a subject related to biomedical or health data science and experience in statistical genetics, machine learning, and bioinformatics.
Key Responsibilities- Lead projects involving the quantitative analysis and interpretation of genomic and phenotypic data
- Develop and apply statistical methods to test hypotheses of interest
- Collaborate with researchers to design and implement new research projects
- Contribute to the development of new research ideas and grant applications
- PhD in a subject related to biomedical or health data science
- Experience in statistical genetics, machine learning, and bioinformatics
- Strong quantitative analysis skills and experience using R and/or Python
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
