NHS Clinical Lead Position

The NHS is seeking an experienced and skilled lead nurse to join our team as a Clinical Lead. This role will provide clinical direction, leadership, mentoring, and aid in developing the careers and knowledge of professionals within the Practice Nursing Team. The successful candidate will ensure high-quality patient care is provided and drive clinical excellence.
Main Responsibilities- Provide routine nursing care to patients as required in accordance with clinical based evidence, NICE, and the NSF.
- Support the development, mentoring, and professional development of others to maximise staff potential in the team.
- Identify the potential for service developments, risk, and deficits and inform practice manager making recommendations based on specialist knowledge.
The salary for this position is estimated to be around £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5+ years post-qualification experience, a degree-level education, and NMC registration. Experience of working in a primary care environment, as a practice nurse, and autonomously is also essential. Additionally, the ability to record accurate clinical notes, work within own scope of practice, and understand when to refer to GPs is crucial.
