We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to lead our neuropsychology services in the Dartford area. The successful candidate will have a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, HCPC registration, and experience working with people with neurological conditions or other relevant fields. You will be responsible for providing high-quality direct and indirect specialist psychological interventions in these services, making autonomous clinical decisions about your professional practice.

You will be part of a friendly neuropsychology service where you will be supported in your transition into the role and supervised by another experienced Clinical Psychologist.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To contribute specialist psychological advice to the multi-disciplinary formulation of therapeutic/intervention plans, and to be involved in, or oversee specialist psychological aspects of their implementation in collaboration with other staff.
  • To undertake psychologically based risk assessment and risk management for relevant individuals and provide advice on the psychological aspects of risk to the multi-disciplinary team.

About the Role

This post requires the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team setting. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be expected to maintain accurate records and adhere to data protection guidelines, ensuring confidentiality and respect for patients' rights. A strong understanding of evidence-based practices and up-to-date research in neuropsychology is essential for this role.
