HR Assistant Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support our client, a leading global manufacturing business, in their Leicester-based manufacturing site. The successful candidate will work closely with the VP of HR and the Plant Manager to provide HR support and guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Plant Manager with employee and operational HR activities
  • Handle general HR activities, including grievances and disciplinaries
  • Provide contractual support and staff engagement activities
  • Support hiring activities and agency management
  • Data management to support attendance reviews, payroll checks, and holiday reports
  • Performance management review process and review of policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • HR Generalist experience
  • Manufacturing background with experience in managing shift workers
  • Health & Safety experience is a plus
