About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Risk Manager to join our team in the UK. As a key member of our Corporate & Investment Banking division, you will be responsible for managing credit risk for our UK branch.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of large UK and Nordic corporates, assessing total limit risk appetite and evaluating new transaction proposals.
  • Comprehend and analyze financial statements, ratings, profitability, sector guidelines, projections, and ESG-related aspects.
  • End-to-end process management from pre-screening and admission of individual operations to the extinction of approved risks.
  • Participate in credit and business committees, liaising with internal and external audits, and other units linked to the admission and monitoring process.

Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of credit risk underwriting experience within a corporate or commercial banking environment.
  • Rating tools knowledge and local regulatory knowledge.
  • Knowledge of UK and Nordic corporates, financial sponsors activity, and structure, leverage finance.
  • Data analysis and data-driven management skills.
  • ESG knowledge is valuable.
Language

Fluent in English (C1) and Spanish (desirable). Other languages are also valuable.
