We are seeking an experienced Access Liaison Officer to join our Energy Transmission Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth project delivery and effective landowner liaison.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with landowners and project stakeholders to agree access onto private land.
  • Confirm accommodation works requirements, including access road installation, temporary roads, land drainage, fencing, and work area preparation.
  • Work closely with the project delivery team and other project subcontractors and consultancy teams to ensure landowners' requirements are communicated and managed during construction works.
  • Resolve landowners' and clients' complaints and defects, and provide landowner and agricultural advice to project staff and consultants as required.
  • Correspond with land agents, local authorities, associated works contractors, and prepare notices and other formalities for entry onto private land.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of agriculture legislation, policy, and best practice guidance across a range of areas, including agricultural, drainage, and soil assessment and management.
  • Knowledge and understanding of agricultural operations, land drainage, environmental policies/schemes would be advantageous.
  • Previous experience of working on large cross-country infrastructure projects would be advantageous.
