Faculty Opportunity at Widener University

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced nursing professional to join our faculty team at Widener University's School of Nursing.

About the Role

This full-time, 10-month faculty position will involve teaching undergraduate and graduate nursing curricula, collaborating with colleagues to develop and review curricula, engaging in scholarly productivity, and mentoring students.

Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver evidence-based teaching strategies
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and review curricula
  • Engage in scholarly productivity to contribute to the advancement of nursing knowledge
  • Mentor and advise students
  • Participate in student recruitment and engagement
  • Contribute to the creation of an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Requirements
  • Earned Research Doctorate (PhD, EdD) in nursing or related field (required for tenure-track) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (Clinical Track)
  • Three years of academic teaching experience (can include clinical teaching)
