About the Role:
Vision for Education - Newcastle is seeking a passionate Behaviour Mentor to work in Key Stage 3 and 4 classes on a full-time basis. As part of an established team, you will be working with pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) issues which present challenging behaviours.

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will be responsible for building bridges in the relationships between students and their mainstream school, developing their self-confidence and self-esteem, bridging the gap in their education where external issues have impacted their learning, and developing strategies to help them succeed in mainstream school.

The desired Behaviour Mentor will have:
  • Experience of working with primary or secondary school-aged children
  • Experience of working with pupils with SEND and challenging behaviour
  • A passion for the progress of SEND secondary school pupils
  • An ability to work as part of a team
  • An ability to deal with fast-paced situations

About the Salary:
The salary for this role is £per week, paid using the PAYE system.
