**Vision for Education - Newcastle** is committed to providing high-quality education and support services to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team and contribute to the success of our students.

This is a long-term full-time role from November onwards, with the possibility of becoming permanent. The successful applicant will be responsible for supporting students with SEND in Key Stage 1, 2, 3, or 4 classes.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • Supporting students with SEND in the classroom
  • Assisting with lesson planning and preparation
  • Collaborating with teachers and other staff members
  • Providing individualized support to students

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience working with primary or secondary school aged children
  • Experience working with pupils with SEND
  • Possession of a passion for the progress of SEND students
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
