Job Title: Margin Operations Senior Analyst

Job Summary:

Citi Markets Operations is seeking a highly skilled Margin Operations Senior Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Margin Operations team, you will play a critical role in mitigating credit risk and ensuring regulatory compliance through the completion of core responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process margin calls to ensure successful receipt and/or payment of agreed and eligible collateral.
  • Optimize collateral to minimize risk and maximize efficiency.
  • Resolve and escalate exceptions, including fails, cash breaks, and margin disputes.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance through the collection and posting of eligible collateral, portfolio reconciliations, and client valuations.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in a financial services role, preferably with experience in margin/collateral management or derivatives settlements.
  • Foundational knowledge of margin/collateral management or derivatives settlements operational functions.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong risk management and control mindset.
