To support the growth, they are seeking an experienced Lead Maintenance Engineer to join the team and drive efficiencies within the Maintenance department.

About the role
As a Lead Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  1. Supporting the management of the maintenance department.
  2. Managing the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  3. Developing and training other engineers.
  4. Overseeing maintenance activities to ensure planned maintenance is applied to all equipment, maximizing site efficiency and minimizing downtime.
  5. Liaising with on-site contractors.
  6. Hands-on responsibilities, including reacting to breakdowns, fault finding, and completing Preventive Predictive Maintenance (PPMS).

About you
To be successful as a Lead Maintenance Engineer, you should have:

  1. Experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry.
  2. A good understanding of both electrical and mechanical engineering principles.
  3. Recognized engineering qualifications, such as NVQ, City and Guilds, HND, or HNC.
