We are seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join our team at Public Practice Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our audit team, you will be responsible for managing a varied audit portfolio, working closely with clients, and leading audit engagements from planning to completion.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a portfolio of audit clients, ensuring timely completion of engagements and delivery of high-quality services.
- Lead audit teams, providing guidance and support to junior staff, and ensuring the effective supervision of audit engagements.
- Develop and implement processes to improve the efficiency of the audit function, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Provide expert advice to clients on audit-related matters, ensuring that they receive the best possible service.
- Support business development initiatives, identifying new service lines and opportunities for growth.
- Contribute to the development of the audit team, providing training and mentorship to junior staff.
- ACA or ACCA qualified, or part-qualified.
- At least 1 year of varied audit experience within practice.
- Experience of group audits and group accounts.
- FRS 102 knowledge.
- Strong IT skills and familiarity with cloud-based software systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
- A positive, can-do attitude, with a commitment to delivering high-quality services.
- A competitive salary of £35,000 to £40,000 per annum.
- A clear and defined pathway of progression to Audit Manager.
