Audit Senior Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join our team at Public Practice Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our audit team, you will be responsible for managing a varied audit portfolio, working closely with clients, and leading audit engagements from planning to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of audit clients, ensuring timely completion of engagements and delivery of high-quality services.
  • Lead audit teams, providing guidance and support to junior staff, and ensuring the effective supervision of audit engagements.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve the efficiency of the audit function, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Provide expert advice to clients on audit-related matters, ensuring that they receive the best possible service.
  • Support business development initiatives, identifying new service lines and opportunities for growth.
  • Contribute to the development of the audit team, providing training and mentorship to junior staff.
Requirements:
  • ACA or ACCA qualified, or part-qualified.
  • At least 1 year of varied audit experience within practice.
  • Experience of group audits and group accounts.
  • FRS 102 knowledge.
  • Strong IT skills and familiarity with cloud-based software systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • A positive, can-do attitude, with a commitment to delivering high-quality services.

  • A competitive salary of £35,000 to £40,000 per annum.
