Civil Engineer Apprentice

We are seeking a talented and ambitious Civil Engineer to join our team at Strata Construction Consulting. As a Civil Engineer Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including housing, commercial, and industrial developments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct feasibility studies and resolve planning conditions, including drainage feasibility and highways considerations.
- Perform flood risk assessments and detailed drawings and calculations for adoptable highways and drainage.
- Liaise with clients and external agencies, such as the Environment Agency and Local Highway Authorities.
- Design work on projects for water and wastewater authorities.
- Represent the company at meetings, public exhibitions, and planning committees as required.
Requirements:
- Working experience of FRAs, Suds, and Pre-Planning Advice.
- Working experience of drainage and highway design and detailing to S38, S278, and S104 agreements.
- Proficiency in MicroDrainage WinDES, Tuflow, and AutoCAD/Autodesk Civil 3D.
- Strong understanding of highway and general structures.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
