Job Title: Senior Data Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our team at Kantar Group. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be responsible for leading advanced analytics projects, consulting with client partners, and solving complex business questions using our wealth of data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead in the delivery of advanced analytics projects, consulting with client partners and solving their most critical business questions using our data.
  • Support the development of new analytical techniques and approaches, as well as integrating data from multiple consumer panels for our MyWorldPanel tool.
  • Scope analytics projects, taking briefs and liaising with internal and external clients.
  • Help develop the skills and capabilities of the wider analytics team, primarily from a technical perspective.
  • Support directors and Worldpanel's leadership team in business development initiatives.
Requirements
  • University degree or equivalent experience in a mathematical/scientific field, preferably with a statistics element.
  • Masters-level degree in a closely related field (statistics, data science, etc.).
  • Extensive experience in manipulating large datasets, performing statistical analysis, running machine learning models, and visualising results using the R ecosystem.
  • Confidence in extracting practical insights from large data sets against a broad range of business questions.
  • Curiosity about analysing human and consumer behaviour, or in brands and how they can grow.
  • Proven experience managing a project workload effectively and delivering work to deadlines.
