Job Purpose:
As an Automotive Customer Service Specialist, you will be tasked with delivering a welcoming and efficient reception, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. You will uphold quality standards and support ongoing process enhancements.
Job Duties:
- To warmly greet all customers and promptly address their needs.
- To gather and document complete customer and vehicle information, along with a precise description of the required services.
- To communicate with the Workshop Foreman/Service Manager regarding the status of vehicles.
- To notify customers of any delays in service completion (adhering to company standards).
- To maintain the Workshop loading system.
- To inform customers of any services that could not be performed and schedule future appointments for completion.
- To prepare both cash and account invoices.
- To present invoices to cash customers and collect payment prior to vehicle release.
- To address customer inquiries and resolve complaints.
- In collaboration with the Service Manager, ensure optimal Workshop loading to maximize labor efficiency.
- To ensure that warranty-related information is accurately recorded on job cards.
- To coordinate with the Parts Department regarding parts on order for vehicles in the Workshop or for upcoming service appointments.
- To file job cards and related documentation.
- To assist in achieving sales targets as outlined by the Aftersales Service Manager.
RequirementsAbout You:
- Strong background in customer service and administrative roles.
- Adaptable mindset and a positive demeanor.
- Experience in the automotive industry is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience in a sales or customer service environment.
- Valid driving license.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
