Job Summary:

We are a privately owned, multi-million-pound business specializing in roofing products, seeking a highly skilled National Sales Manager to drive our growth ambitions in the merchant market.

About the Role:

The newly created role of National Sales Manager – independents and buying groups is a key part of our growth plan to increase our market share and have multiple routes to market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop relationships with buying groups and independent merchants to stock our products.
  • Devise a business plan to assess the market and enter into agreements with the correct buying groups and merchants.
  • Map out all independent merchants not part of buying groups and create an approach to engage with them.
  • Recruit and manage a national sales team to support a nationwide rollout.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in national sales, with a strong understanding of the merchant market.
  • Excellent people management skills, with the ability to recruit and lead a national sales team.
  • Business acumen, with a focus on driving growth and increasing market share.
  • Experience with managing national deals, tenders, and rebates.
