Position Overview

Calian Group is seeking a skilled Clinical Psychologist to provide psychological assessment services for candidate selection. As a member of our dynamic team, you will work with clients across Canada to conduct assessments and ensure that applicants are fit for high-risk scenarios.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  1. Conducting one-on-one interviews with candidates who have completed written personality assessments.
  2. Completing a template with your findings after conducting interviews.
  3. Receiving support from our experienced Senior Consulting Psychologist.
  4. Performing formal testing using MMPI-3 and 16PF.
  5. Reviewing and interpreting the results of the testing.
  6. Conducting follow-up clinical interviews to determine whether the candidate meets or does not meet the requirements of the client.
  7. Providing feedback on individual assessment results to the candidates and defending psychological evaluations when required.
Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  1. Completed at least 25 individual psychological assessments for clients primarily engaged in law enforcement or military roles.
  2. Ph.D. or Psy.D in Psychology is preferred; a Master's with the proper background is also acceptable.
  3. Must be fully licensed for autonomous practice as a Psychologist in Ontario.
  4. Must be fully fluent in English.
  5. Must be able to conduct interviews with candidates in-person in a private office.
Additional Requirements

Casual contract – Flexible schedule Based on the needs of the client and the availability of the Psychologist. Work can be done on weekdays, evenings and/or weekends
