Calian Group is seeking a skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team in Windsor, Ontario. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for conducting psychological assessments for candidate selection in high-risk scenarios. Our clients rely on our network of Psychologists to ensure their applicants are fit for the job.
Key ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible for:
- Conducting one-on-one interviews with candidates who have previously completed written personality assessments.
- Completing a template with your findings after conducting the interviews.
- Receiving support from our experienced Senior Consulting Psychologist.
- Performing the second part of a two-part assessment, which will include formal testing using MMPI-3 and 16PF, and a structured clinical interview.
- Reviewing and interpreting the results of the testing.
- Conducting follow-up clinical interviews to determine whether the candidate meets or does not meet the requirements of CBSA.
- Providing feedback on individual assessment results to the candidates and defending psychological evaluations when required.
Education and Experience:
- Completed at least 25 individual psychological assessments for clients primarily engaged in law enforcement or military roles.
- Ph.D. or Psy.D in Psychology is preferred; a Master's with the proper background is also acceptable.
- Must be fully licensed for autonomous practice as a Psychologist in Ontario.
- Must be fully fluent in English.
- Must be able to conduct interviews with candidates in-person in a private office.
This is a casual contract position with a flexible schedule based on the needs of the client and the availability of the Psychologist. Work can be done on weekdays, evenings, and/or weekends.
