Internal Sales Executive

Milton Keynes (fully office based)

£30,000 -34,000 per annum plus bonus and fantastic benefits

We are seeking a skilled Internal Sales Executive to join our team at Ascendant Recruitment. As an Internal Sales Executive, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with contractual buyers, using spreadsheets to aid in forecasting and order book management. You will need to have previous manufacturing, aerospace, or metals experience to understand your client's needs, motivations, and long-term plans.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Completion of sales quotations
  • Supporting the creation of strategic proposals and bids
  • Recognise and help develop areas of profitable growth for Contractual Accounts.
  • Coordination of activities both internal and external to ensure contract deliverables are met
  • Maintain regular customer stock lists & SAP contract reports and manage inventory levels.
  • Work in conjunction with Sales Support to provide efficient and effective customer service.
  • To ensure all functions are performed in accordance with compliance requirements
  • To seek out opportunities for 'Materials as a Service' ethos.
  • To develop accounts to Key Account status and pass 'up stream'

Your Profile:

Essential:

  • Sales Contract management experience
  • aeropsace or metals or manufacturing knowledge
  • Proven track record of customer development
  • Commercial awareness & negotiation skills
  • Customer service focus
  • Analytical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal / communication skills
  • PC literate with a strong working knowledge of windows based applications.
