Deputy Children's Manager

At Service Care Solutions, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Children's Manager to join our team in Redhill. As a key member of our residential childcare team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the welfare and development of the young people in our care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Registered Care Manager in maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as meeting all relevant OFSTED regulations.
  • Deputise for the Registered Manager in their absence, providing leadership and guidance to the team.
  • Promote the welfare and development of the young people, working closely with the management team to ensure their needs are met.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure that the young person's stay is compliant with the company's ethos and care plan.
  • Support the team in ensuring a smooth transition for young people leaving the home, in line with company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Children's and Young People's Workforce.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in residential childcare and working with young people.
  • Experience as a Deputy Manager.

Benefits:

  • Potential to earn up to £3,250 for recommending a foster carer, or up to £1,000 for referring a full-time staff member.
  • Bonus of £100 for achieving a 'Good' Ofsted outcome and £200 for an 'Outstanding' rating.
  • Service awards of £200 after 2 years, £400 after 5 years, and £600 after 10 years, plus up to £500 for exceptional practice.
