Job Summary

We're seeking a talented Marketing Communications Specialist to join our Consumer Marketing Team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing integrated marketing communications plans that drive business growth and customer engagement.

Main Responsibilities

  • Work with the Consumer Marketing Manager and the wider Consumer Marketing Team to develop and implement an integrated marketing communications plan for all Love2shop brands.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Team and Creative Team to create and monitor a wide variety of integrated communications, including email, SMS, direct mail, and print.
  • Demonstrate best practice in creating compelling, on-brand, action-oriented marketing communications, including content, subject lines, timing, frequency, and format.
  • Ensure layouts are optimized and mobile-friendly.
  • Work with the Email Developer to develop new email templates for use within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Deliver against a testing program to constantly optimize performance.
  • Work with the wider Consumer Marketing Team to develop methods of growing database size, quality, and improved segmentation.
  • Check and achieve the relevant sign-off prior to emission, including Compliance and Legal.
  • Be a brand guardian for defined brands, ensuring consistent application of brand guidelines and Tone of Voice across all campaigns.

Essential Skills

  • Proven experience in email marketing.
  • Excellent planning, project management, organizational skills, time management, and the ability to prioritize workload.
  • Confidence in copywriting, understanding of grammar, proofreading skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to align to business KPIs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability to keep calm under pressure.
  • Ability to adapt to change and redefine goals as necessary.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.

Desirable but Not Essential

  • Relevant degree/marketing/direct marketing qualification.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar template-driven comms building platform to build electronic marketing communications.
  • Experience and understanding of Google Analytics to track and report on revenue-driving communications campaigns.
