Marketing Communications Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Communications Specialist to join our team at PayPoint Group. As a key member of our Consumer Marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing communications plans that drive customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth for our B2C brands.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Head of Consumer Marketing and the wider Consumer Marketing team to own and execute the day-to-day marketing communications plan for all PayPoint Group brands, recommending activities and campaigns that meet monthly and annual revenue targets.
- Work with Marketing teams and the wider business to create, monitor, and execute a wide variety of integrated communications, including email, SMS, direct mail, and print, using our suite of tools.
- Introduce best practices in content, subject lines, timing, frequency, and format, considering customer lifecycle.
- Work with Creative, CRM, and other teams on the development of new email templates for use within our email service provider.
- Introduce a test program to constantly optimize performance.
- Approve all direct-to-customer marketing communication content, creative, and message to ensure they are motivating to customers and drive purchase.
- Look to introduce methods of growing database size, quality, and improved segmentation.
- Check and achieve the relevant sign-off prior to emission, including Compliance and Legal.
- Be a Brand Guardian for defined brands, ensuring consistent application of brand guidelines and Tone of Voice across all campaigns.
- Measure and report on revenue and engagement, making suggestions for improvement to ensure that campaigns are cost-effective and align to commercial business KPIs.
- Support day-to-day management of marketing agencies by providing information and direction.
- Ensure internal stakeholder engagement in all marketing plans in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Relevant degree/marketing/direct marketing qualification.
- Proven extensive experience in marketing communications.
- Excellent planning, project management, organizational skills, time management, and the ability to prioritize workload.
- Copywriting and proofreading skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
Desirable
- Working knowledge of key ESPs to build electronic marketing communications.
