We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our Porter Team as a Porter Team Member. As a key member of our hospital support team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our patient transport services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide efficient and safe transportation of patients, goods, and equipment throughout the hospital.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Operate a range of vehicles and equipment, including powered movers and electrical vehicles.
  • Support the provision of clinical services by transporting patients and goods as required.
  • Adhere to strict infection control and manual handling procedures to ensure patient safety.
Requirements
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
