Job Overview

Secure Care UK is a leading provider of specialist patient transport services for the NHS and wider healthcare sectors across the UK. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Deployment Coordinator to join our team in Hastings, East Sussex.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the safe transportation of service users with mental health conditions, providing logistical support to our Mental Health Transport Assistants, and maintaining consistency and compliance with current legislation, policies, and values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to incoming telephone calls and emails in a timely and professional manner
  • Dispatch crews to bookings, ensuring patient care and risk assessments are considered
  • Maintain proficiency in IT systems, including command and control systems and mapping software
  • Accurately record all information provided by clients when taking bookings
  • Record operational data, populate data management systems, and assist in metrics reporting
  • Handle complaints and compliments professionally, escalating as necessary
  • Support the creation and implementation of crew rotas, considering individual and business needs
  • Ensure Company Standard Operating Procedures and Policies are followed
  • Adhere to statutory regulations and applicable legislation, reporting issues as necessary
  • Investigate incidents within CQC/IMF framework
  • Support the induction and training of new Communications and Deployment Coordinators
  • Perform downtime duties, including audits, and lead by example
  • Work as a crew member in exceptional circumstances, ensuring patient safety and adherence to safe systems of work
  • Participate in staff development programs, supervisions, and performance development reviews
  • Champion Secure Care UK's standards, values, policies, and procedures

Requirements

  • Maintain Enhanced DBS
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure

  • Ability to problem-solve efficiently
  • Good IT skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
