Job Description

**Job Title:** Deputy Headteacher - Pastoral Leadership Opportunity

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Headteacher to join our Senior Leadership Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the provision of pastoral care throughout the school and ensuring the emotional, physical, and intellectual wellbeing of the whole student body.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Lead the development and implementation of a coherent and innovative whole-school pastoral curriculum
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the pastoral team
  • Ensure the effective implementation of safeguarding policies and procedures
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and staff
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the school's strategic plan

**Requirements:**

  • Proven experience of school leadership, with a focus on pastoral care and safeguarding
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to inspire confidence and motivate students, parents, and staff
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to the school's ethos, aims, and strategic direction
