About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Maintenance Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day maintenance duties at our academy of schools.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need previous experience in a maintenance or handyman type role. Experience within a school setting would be preferred. You must be a team player, adaptable, and flexible with the ability to work independently when required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with maintenance and ad-hoc repairs across multiple sites.
  • Maintain the security of school premises, buildings, and grounds.
  • Operate and test security systems as needed.
  • Conduct compliance checks and supervise contractors on-site.
  • Support event setup and supervision.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a maintenance or caretaker type role.
  • Full UK Driving Licence (Essential) and own transport.
  • Able to work 37 hours per week with flexibility to cover hours between 06:00 and 22:00.

Working Arrangements:

This is a temporary position working weekly until transferring to a permanent contract. The salary for this role is approximately £25,000 - £28,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
