We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Plater to join our team at Matchtech. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for fabricating and plating marine components and structures.
Key Responsibilities- Fabricating and plating marine components and structures to meet quality and safety standards
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication
- Collaborating with other team members to meet project deadlines and maintain a safe working environment
- Maintaining tools and equipment in good working order to ensure efficient production
- Experience in marine or offshore/oil & gas/offshore sectors
- Fabrication skills and the ability to work from technical drawings
- NVQ/SVQ level 3 or equivalent qualifications from an apprenticeship
- Full SC Clearance, proof of which will be required
- Understanding of and compliance with safety standards and protocols
We offer a competitive rate of £35.65/h Umb co or £21.72/h PAYE plus £3.27/h holiday pay for this contract role, which is expected to last 6-9 months.
