Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Plater to join our team at Matchtech. As a Fabricator/Plater, you will be responsible for fabricating and plating marine components and structures, ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabricate and plate marine components and structures to meet project requirements.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Collaborate with other team members to meet project deadlines and ensure smooth workflow.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working order to optimize productivity.

Requirements:

• Experience in marine or offshore/oil & gas/offshore sectors, with a strong understanding of fabrication and plating processes.
• NVQ/SVQ level 3 or equivalent qualifications from an apprenticeship, with a focus on fabrication and plating.
• Full SC Clearance, with proof of which will be required.
• Understanding of and compliance with safety standards and protocols, with a focus on quality and safety.

What We Offer:

• Competitive hourly rate of £35.65/h (Umb co) or £21.72/h (PAYE) plus £3.27/h holiday pay.
