About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at Human Capital Solutions UK. As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design of electrical building services for various projects, including hotels, schools, hospitals, high-rise residential towers, and state-of-the-art science and research facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design of electrical building services for projects from concept stage through to commissioning, handover, and post-occupancy.
  • Develop and implement electrical design solutions that meet the needs of clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Manage and mentor junior engineers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Assist with bid preparation and fee submissions to secure new projects and clients.

Requirements:

  • At least five years of experience in a consultancy environment, preferably in electrical building services design.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical design principles, codes, and standards.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
