Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake strategic development planning and detailed design work for infrastructure projects
  • Provide technical input into the planning process and lead detailed design and implementation into projects during the construction phase
  • Manage project resources, delegate tasks, and mentor junior staff
  • Support the wider team's financial and commercial management through robust project delivery

Requirements:

  • Proven record in client care and business development
  • Competent in liaising with highways, water, statutory, and local authorities
  • Relevant qualifications (Bachelor or Masters) in Civil Engineering and Chartered status with at least 8 years relevant experience
  • Knowledge of legal processes, planning, design, design software, technical consents process, adoption, and contract procedures for drainage schemes
  • Experience in technical report writing and knowledge of relevant design codes
