Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Hamilton Woods. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining equipment and facilities at our Knottingley site, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and environmental responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform maintenance tasks from the CMMS system, following PPM schedules and maintaining equipment such as drums, rollers, and conveyors.
  • Conduct inspections and prepare plants and chutes for regular shutdowns.
  • Patch up worn equipment due to the abrasive nature of the materials, including welding and other repair techniques.
  • Participate in a 60/40 planned/reactive maintenance split.
  • Maintain site cleanliness and hygiene.
Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical and Mechanical discipline or equivalent.
  • Experience in an industrial, heavy metal, or dirty environment; waste industry experience is ideal.
  • Skills in welding and equipment patching are highly desirable.
