Software Support Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Support Engineer to join our team at FLAGS Software Ltd. As a Software Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing world-class technical support to our customers, partners, and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to customers, partners, and colleagues via phone, email, and remote desktop.
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues related to our software products and internal systems.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Team to ensure timely resolution of customer queries.
  • Liaise with Development, Sales, and Service teams to aid resolution of customer and internal issues.
  • Manage minor projects and project items assigned to you through to implementation.
  • Provide on-call support to key clients on a rota basis.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in an Application Support role or similar.
  • A background or keen interest in IT.
  • Flexible and adaptable in regards to product advancements, workload, and nature of issues on a day-to-day basis.
  • Ability to conduct research into software-related issues and products, with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed, with a solid work ethic and an emphasis on quality and process.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Database interrogation is desirable.
