Job Title: Community Support Worker

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Community Support Worker to join our team and provide support to an individual with a learning disability.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing personal care and support to our client, including assistance with daily living tasks, mobility, and communication. You will also be required to accompany our client on outings and activities, such as bowling and visiting garden centres and cafes.

We are looking for someone who is patient, understanding, and able to use basic Makaton to communicate with our client. You will need to be a car driver with a full UK driving licence to enable our client to access the community.

Requirements:
  • At least 6 months previous experience in the UK in the care sector, supporting individuals with physical and learning disabilities.
  • Basic Makaton experience.
  • Ability to use Makaton to communicate with our client.
  • Car driver with business insurance.
