About the Role:

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Learning Difficulties Support Worker to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with diverse learning needs, helping them reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer tailored support to students, enhancing their academic and personal growth.
  • Work closely with teachers and parents to monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Support students with social, emotional, and behavioural needs, promoting positive interactions.
  • Participate in training and professional development sessions related to Autism, ADHD, and other additional needs.

Salary Information:

The estimated salary for this position is £12.90 per hour, reflecting the importance of your role in supporting students' educational journey.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children, particularly those with SEN (desired but not required).
  • Patience, empathy, and adaptability in various situations and student needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Enhanced DBS and Educational Workforce Council (EWC) registration – Teaching Personnel can assist with applications.
  • Right to work in the UK, ensuring compliance with legal regulations.
