Specialised Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic physiotherapist to join our MSK outpatient physiotherapist specialist rotation service at East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust.

This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a variety of clinical areas, including hydrotherapy, hand therapy, and rheumatology, and to broaden your clinical expertise within specific UL, LL, Spinal, and Rheumatology pathways.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop assessment and treatment skills in hydrotherapy, hand therapy, and rheumatology
  • Broaden your clinical skills within specific UL, LL, Spinal, and Rheumatology pathways
  • Supervise rotational physiotherapists, technical instructors, physiotherapy assistants, and students
  • Deliver 'Clinical Reasoning Training' sessions to those you supervise
  • Participate in wider In-Service Training programmes
About the Role

This role is central to the clinical development of others and requires a strong clinical leader who can support the delivery of the best MSK care for our patient community.

You will be expected to engage in a supported supervision programme, incorporating reflective practice, clinical reasoning, and skills development, as well as independent CPD.

Person Specification
  • Degree or diploma in Physiotherapy
  • Current registration with HCPC
  • Post-graduate qualification or proven equivalent experience/training in a relevant field
