Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Delivery Director to take a strategic lead role within our highly respected main partner operating in the Southern Water sector region.

About the Role

This is a senior appointment, and we are looking for someone with real drive and passion to further strengthen our CMDP relationship with SWS and take the framework to the next level.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Framework Director and will be responsible for leading the CMDP team in all aspects of delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide strategic and professional guidance to Construction Managers, Project Managers, and wider members of the team.
  2. Actively champion wellbeing, safety, and environmental performance, and compliance throughout your team to create a safety culture to ensure Zero LTI and RIDDOR Incidents.
  3. Develop and maintain a high-performance culture across the CMDP team, delivering efficiencies and continuous improvement.
  4. Provide whole life oversight and accountability for the successful delivery of projects, through design, procurement, assembly, commissioning, and handover.
  5. Deliver commercial and financial performance in line with budget expectations.
  6. Promote and actively demonstrate collaborative behaviours within the CMDP JV team.
  7. Ensure compliance with SWS and CMDP governance requirements.
  8. Establish and grow excellent relationships with SWS and other Delivery Partners.
About You

We are looking for someone with extensive experience in leading, managing, developing, and motivating senior people and teams. Your leadership skills will be key to success in this role.

The ideal candidate will have significant contract delivery experience where they have successfully managed a regional framework of multiple projects and/or programmes of a complex or critical nature in a collaborative delivery environment.

Requirements:

  1. HNC/HND or degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
  2. NEC PM accreditation (preferred).
  3. Association of Project Management APMP (preferred).

Estimated Salary: £80,000 - £120,000 per annum.
