Job Role Overview

As a Qualified Social Worker, you will be responsible for assessing and intervening with children and families who are experiencing difficulties.

This role is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children and their families.

You will work closely with colleagues in the Assessment and Intervention Team to provide high-quality social work services.

The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in social work principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough assessments of children and families to identify their needs and develop appropriate intervention plans.
  2. Develop and maintain effective relationships with children, families, and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  3. Work collaboratively with the Assessment and Intervention Team to provide a range of services, including assessments, interventions, and reviews.
  4. Stay up-to-date with the latest research, policy, and best practices in social work to ensure high-quality services are delivered.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a strong foundation in social work principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with children, families, and other professionals.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to deliver high-quality services.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
