**Job Summary**

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Home Assistant to join our team at a 40-bed modern care home in Workington. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their dignity, independence, and well-being are maintained at all times.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Provide personalized care and attention to residents, following individual care plans and ensuring all contact is polite, friendly, and supportive.

• Act as a key worker for a named group of residents, ensuring their needs are met and responsibilities are carried out in full.

• Participate in the formulation and maintenance of individual care plans, administer medication as prescribed, and maintain accurate records.

**Requirements**

• NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care as a minimum.

• Supervisory/leadership skills.

• Minimum of 2 years relevant UK Care Home experience.

**Working Hours and Pay**

• 39 hours on days, including alternative weekends.

• 22, 33, or 44 hours on nights, including alternative weekends.

• £13.65/hour, breaks unpaid.

**Contract and Benefits**

• Permanent contract.

• Excellent public transport links.
